KATΩI RENOVATION

This project involves the renovation and transformation of a traditional ground-floor house in Pothia, Kalymnos.

The new design draws inspiration from the island’s traditional architecture while introducing a refined contemporary character, preserving key elements such as natural stone and traditional plaster finishes.

The interior layout is completely reorganized to create a more functional and inviting home, featuring an open-plan living and kitchen area, one bedroom, a WC, and a storage space, along with a new sleeping mezzanine that makes full use of the existing volume.

The result is a warm, authentic residence that combines local architectural identity with modern living.
