DΛIDΛLVS

Villa Daedalus it is a contemplative experience that unites the boundless views of Telendos and Kalavros island on one of the most majestic hills of Emporeios area for a dwelling that has been conceived to offer an organic sensory escape with a series of inner patios, concealed gardens, hidden courtyards which contribute to create intimate and sheltered spaces all year round from the strong winds blowing in this exposed and elevated site.

The hypogeum architecture conceived for villa Daedalus aims to integrate it with the existing landscape and improve its energy performances to reach a smarter sustainable residence.

The courtyards which are the most inclusive domestic space of all and therefore a Mediterranean courtyard is the quintessence of domestic living space, that allows the direct sunlight of the Mediterranean penetrate the interior spaces that revolve around them meanwhile maintaining a protected and special interaction.

Its result in an intricated and organic system of semi-outdoor spaces that naturally merge with the surrounds and improve the overall comfort.
